Podcast: Luca Dellanna on 'The Control Heuristic' and the Future of Education
“Either you desire the actions that would bring change or you won’t change. Desiring the outcomes of change doesn’t count.”
Back in September of last year, our co-founder Jake got the chance to sit down with Luca Dellanna and discuss subjects varying from his new book (The Control Heuristic) to irrational behaviour, people's resistance to change and the concepts of Nassim Taleb (and so much more).
“Most graduates, once hired, have two problems: knowing too much of what doesn’t matter and too little of what does.”
Luca was an automotive engineer who moved paths to become an independent researcher and author. His focus is the topic of emerging behaviour and reporting his findings and their implications, but he also consults corporations and individuals on these changes and anti-fragile operations.
We don’t want to spoil the content of the conversation so you can listen to it the first time for yourself - it’s really interesting.
